Job Summary

SDB Bank is seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage the organization’s information security operations. This role is fundamental to safeguarding the bank’s information assets against unauthorized access while ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations and Central Bank standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT security policies, from design and implementation to continuous monitoring of security gaps. You will oversee critical technological defenses including Firewalls, WAF, and DLP systems, while leading security audits and disaster recovery drills. This position requires a strategic thinker who can manage both human and technical resources to respond to security incidents efficiently, maintaining the bank’s commitment to a secure and innovative digital banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage organization-wide information security operations and related projects.

• Protect company information assets from unauthorized access.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.

• Implement and maintain comprehensive IT security policies and procedures.

• Monitor systems to identify security gaps and design effective solutions.

• Manage human and technological resources within the security department.

• Handle security incidents in an efficient and timely manner.

• Monitor and manage Firewalls, WAF, PAM, DLP, and SSE systems.

• Coordinate security audits, disaster recovery (DR) drills, and penetration tests.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the IT industry.

• Significant professional exposure to Information Security.

• Hands-on experience designing secure networks and managing enterprise firewalls.

• Strong knowledge of network security, computer forensics, and information assurance.

• Current knowledge of cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.

• Proven leadership, people development, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Fortinet, Checkpoint, or Imperva systems.

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
