Finance – Executive
The Finance Executive role at SDB Bank is a critical operational position focused on managing the bank’s daily online payment systems and maintaining accurate financial records. You will be responsible for ensuring all payment-related documents receive necessary approvals in accordance with banking regulations while recording transactions precisely in the general ledger. This role requires a professional capable of establishing robust internal controls and efficient workflows. Beyond daily processing, you will contribute to the department’s modernization by assisting in the automation of payment procedures and identifying cost-saving strategies, ensuring the bank maintains high standards of financial integrity and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily online payments for the bank.

Record transactions accurately in the general ledger.

Obtain approval for payment-related documents according to bank regulations.

Establish efficient payment processes with strong internal controls.

Assist in automating payment procedures.

Initiate cost-saving strategies.

Minimize audit issues through diligent financial management.
Candidate Profile

Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a banking or financial institution.

Exposure to a Finance Department environment.

Thorough knowledge of tax regulations and latest accounting pronouncements.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial data.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Good interpersonal and organizational skills.

Strong problem-handling and relationship-building capabilities.

Banking industry exposure is considered an added advantage.
