LEAD SUPPORT ENGINEER
REQUIREMENTS
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognised institution
-
Hands-on experience working with multiple operating systems, such as Windows, Linux and UNIX, along with their related applications and system tools
-
Hands-on experience in system administration and IT support, including managing servers, networks, troubleshooting and routine system maintenance
-
A Masterβs degree such as an MBA/ MSc in a relevant field will be an added advantage
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
System Monitoring and Maintenance
-
Ensure servers, operating systems, networks and applications are running smoothly by performing regular monitoring, updates, patches and preventive maintenance
-

Incident and Problem Resolution
-
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve system, hardware, software and network issues within agreed SLAs, minimising downtime and business impact
-

User Support and Access Management
-
Provide technical support to end users, manage user accounts, permissions and access rights, and ensure compliance with security and IT policies
-

Documentation and Change Support
-
Maintain accurate system documentation, configurations and procedures, and support system upgrades, deployments and change management activities
-
