We are headhunting a meticulous Tax Accountant to join a market-leading corporate tax function in Leeds. This is a pivotal role for a practice-trained professional looking to transition into a commercial environment, offering direct exposure to high-level fiscal strategy and international compliance.

The Role

• Manage the end-to-end preparation of corporate tax computations and statutory reporting for various UK entities.

• Support the Group Tax Manager with VAT compliance, transfer pricing documentation, and quarterly tax provisioning.

• Identify opportunities for process automation and internal control improvements to mitigate financial risk.

• Act as a technical advisor to the wider finance team regarding the tax implications of new commercial projects.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification with a strong grounding in UK corporate tax legislation.

• Experience gained within a Top 10 accounting firm or a sophisticated in-house finance department.

• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with modern tax reporting software.

• Proactive mindset with the ability to simplify complex regulatory requirements for non-tax stakeholders.
