Role Overview
Teamforce Labour is recruiting an experienced Civils Site Supervisor for an immediate start on a major infrastructure project in Leeds. This role is specifically designed for candidates with a strong background in utilities and substation environments, with a proven track record of supervising civil engineering works.
Scope of Works

General Civils: Ducting and troughing installations.

Substation Specialties: Earth mat installation, steel structures, and post insulators.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors to ensure daily targets are met.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and site-specific protocols.

Quality Control: Monitor the quality of all works, ensuring they meet rigorous technical specifications and project standards.

Liaison & Reporting: Maintain clear communication with site management and provide regular progress reports.

Programme Management: Ensure all works are completed efficiently and in line with project deadlines.
Requirements

Certification: Valid Gold CSCS Card (Supervisor level) and EUSR (Persons) are essential.

Qualifications: SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) is required.

Experience: Proven expertise in substation civils, specifically with earth mats, steel structures, and post insulators.

Mobility: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Skills: Strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of health and safety procedures in a safety-critical environment.
