The Pay & Perks

We offer a highly competitive and layered compensation package:

• Standard Rate: £14.50 per hour

• Overtime Rate: £21.75 per hour (1.5x base)

• Performance Bonus: Potential for up to £13.00 per day (£65 per week).

• Early Start Bonus: £10.00 extra per day for starts before 04:30.

• Allowances: £3.00 daily meal allowance and £26.50 per night (when night work is required).

The Schedule

• Days: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays required).

• Hours: Typical window between 05:00 and 17:00.

• Stability: Enjoy consistent routes and a predictable weekly schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation: Safely and efficiently operate Articulated vehicles.

• Compliance: Conduct thorough daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate digital tachograph records and ensure 100% compliance with Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.

• Communication: Maintain professional and effective contact with the transport office.

Requirements

• Licensing: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) and a current Driver CPC.

• Certification: Must hold a valid ADR licence.

• Documentation: Current Digital Tachograph card.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional Class 1 driving experience.

• Insurance: Candidates must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.

• Local Knowledge: Strong geographical knowledge of Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.
