Panda is a customer-centric, award-winning leader in waste and recycling solutions. We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Agent to join our dynamic team at our Cross Green site in Leeds. In this role, you will be the voice of our business, fielding inquiries from across the country and ensuring our commercial and domestic clients receive excellence at every touchpoint.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Inbound Communication: Manage a high volume of inbound calls (averaging 300+ daily across the team) with a professional and concise telephone manner.

Order Processing: Provide accurate written and verbal quotations and process online or email orders with meticulous attention to detail.

Relationship Building: Engage with customers to build strong rapport and handle initial points of contact for complaints or service dissatisfaction with confidence.

Operational Coordination: Work closely with Traffic Planners and the Operations Team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Proactive Support: Conduct outbound calls to update customers on service adjustments or rescheduled work.

Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where workflows shift daily, requiring a flexible and team-oriented approach.
Candidate Requirements

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a confident telephone presence.

Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.

Attributes: Enthusiastic, hardworking, and capable of working under tight deadlines.

Initiative: Ability to work independently while contributing to the overall success of the department.

Transport: Due to our location in Cross Green, having your own transport is preferred.
