About the Role

This is an exciting, high-level national role within the corporate sector, demanding an energetic, hands-on approach combined with solid strategic thinking. As a Corporate Sales Manager, you will drive our ambitious business growth plans by identifying, negotiating, and closing large-scale national contracts.

Supported by our dedicated marketing and tenders teams, you will focus on new business development, transforming prospects into long-term, profitable partners through solution-based selling.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Growth: Source and close high-value national contracts within target markets, professionally representing the unique features and benefits of our services.

  • Solution-based Selling: Create needs-based solutions and sell comprehensive contracts across general waste, recycling, equipment, shredding, and hazardous waste.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an active CRM and sales pipeline, ensuring all prospect information is accurate and opportunities are pre-qualified for strategic fit.

  • Proposal & Presentation: Prepare and present professional sales proposals, highlighting the technical and financial advantages of our proposition to key management personnel.

  • Financial Modeling: Collaborate with internal departments to build accurate costing models and P&Ls for potential contracts.

  • Mobilization & Support: Lead mobilization meetings to ensure a smooth rollout of new contracts and a seamless transition to the account management team.

  • Networking & Representation: Participate in industry networking events and sales conferences to showcase our services to potential prospects.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Opportunity Sourcing: Identifying and profiling key B2B opportunities nationwide.

  • Target Achievement: Consistently meeting and exceeding agreed sales and growth targets.

  • Risk Management: Completing site risk assessments, audits, and credit checks to ensure contract viability.

  • Reporting: Providing weekly activity reports and contributing to regional sales meetings.

Experience and Skills

  • Proven Track Record: 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrable history of securing corporate-level contracts.

  • Negotiation & Influence: Exceptional negotiating skills with the ability to close complex, multi-layered deals.

  • Presentation Excellence: Strong presentation skills, capable of engaging and persuading senior stakeholders.

  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to review diverse customer requirements and provide innovative, cost-effective alternative solutions.
